However, people were probably too busy freaking out about Christmas to have time to write.

I don’t think you’re a total grinch for not liking children singing Christmas carols. Truth be told, I’m in the same boat. The exception is when the kids from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” sing Hark the Herald Angels Sing. That is it.

I learned a new fact about “It’s A Wonderful Life” today. I honestly thought that they showed it every year because somehow it was still a ratings bonanza for the networks. Apparently not.

I HATE children singing Christmas carols, for some reason. I know that makes me sound like a total grinch, but it’s true! I do, however LOVE Burl Ives Christmas stuff, and Bing Crosby too. Did you know that “It’s a Wonderful Life” was a bomb at the box office? It bankrupted its production company, which is why we see it every year. The networks picked it up because it was free!

P.S. I love that you gave a mention to “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” which is the best of the Christmas specials.
