I am sorry for your troubles. I represent xerox and there is a way that you can eliminate the beeping noises in all cases. Call me when you get a chance next week and i can walk you through on how disable this feature. I feel your pain trust me I help provide solutions to people that experience these issues on a daily basis.

They get these made by Fuji Xerox in Japan, sell it under the Xerox label and just try to sell paper and toner for it. They also don’t do a very good job of system engineering, in general, so its likely that whoever designed the horn didn’t work with the guy who designed the control system and didn’t work with whoever worked on the paper guidance system.
